Many reasons to celebrate today as my sister, Jane, gave birth to a healthy baby girl at 8:21am this morning in Greenwich, Connecticut.  Reilly Jane weighed in at 7 lbs, 7 ozs and is doing wonderfully. Her four male cousins celebrated far, far away in Jerusalem with a pizza party at their favorite local restaurant and then some cucumbers and hummus for dessert when they got home (you don’t celebrate anything in Jerusalem without hummus).  The boys (and I) are very much looking forward to the feminine influences Reilly is sure to bring into their testoserone-fueled lives.

As for all of you PF readers, you can look forward to a good number of posts regarding nursingwear. I’ve supplied Jane with a stack of new nursing bras and tops that she is all ready to try out and then detail those always amusing first-time nursing experiences for all of us.
