Just as we are all growing so very tired of our winter maternity wardrobes, thrilling news arrives to brighten up Spring 2009–Liz Lange is back!  After a brief hiatus from her high-end maternity collection, the legendary maternity designer is returning with a new line for Spring 2009 and Nordstrom’s online maternity boutique just posted seven items from the new line.  I discovered the new pieces late last week, and I was so excited, I immediately emailed Liz herself.  To my surprise, she (or possibly her assistant) emailed me right back and told me that yes, the line is now available in Nordstrom’s, but she is also reviving her own online boutique at LizLange.com and it should be up and running within the next few weeks.  The new spring line also includes maternity jeans.   I went ahead and immediately ordered a few items from Nordstrom, including this  ”Cassandra” tuxedo shirt for USD $158 and this black wool pencil skirt for USD $128.  I don’t usually blog about items I haven’t tried on already, but this is Liz Lange we are talking about and I am pretty comfortable in saying that you can’t go wrong in terms of her quality or her fit. 

Click here to view all of the new Liz Lange pieces now selling at Nordstrom.  Liz Lange’s Spring 2009 collection will also be available at maternity boutiques Now Showing (Virginia Beach), Pickles & Ice Cream (Texas), and Veronique Maternity (New York City), but I wouldn’t rely on either one of these online boutiques to get pieces up and available online anytime soon, so Nordstrom is currently your best bet.  I am going to stop by Veronique later this week to see what they currently have in stock.  I am really hoping this knee-length  purple “Danielle” charmeuse dress is available for purchase very soon.  I love it and it will be great for spring.  I’ve also included a few more of Liz Lange’s Spring 2009 promotional photos.  I’ll try and keep you posted as more items become available for sale online…
