I don’t feel as if I need to write much more than tell you that Hatch Maternity’s Fall 2012 Collection was released today. This is Hatch’s third maternity collection and per usual, it is just gorgeous. Hatch’s combination of chic minimalist design with maternity-friendly silhouettes is flawless and unlike most of your other maternity clothing, you really will want to wear these pieces after your pregnancy. Look at this reversible Cape–really, how could you not?
In fact, Hatch’s pieces are as useful for postpartum wear as they are for pregnancy. I wore my Hatch Dinner Party Dress last week wtih a narrow belt–it looks like it came right off the runway, but it’s also perfect for hiding those last ten pounds. And this season, it comes in Emerald Green Silk…obviously, there is no need for any additional worry about what you’ll be wearing for the holidays.
The Hoodie is another ideal postpartum piece–and yes, I realize I am proposing you purchase a $258 sweatshirt. But this particular sweatshirt is cut from a very unusual, soft, luxurious Japanese terry fabric and when it is on your body, it looks nothing like your typical sweatshirt. I guarantee you will not take this hoodie off during your hospital stay.
Also this season, Hatch has introduced new petite sizing for women under 5’3,” potentially saving you some money and effort on tailoring.

Hey there, i am curious about the sizing at Hatch. I am a size 8 and torn between their size 1 (4-8) or size 2 (8-14.) Do you find that they are pretty true to your normal size.. if you are regularly a 6 or 8 for ex?
